Describe your life before you had Weight Loss Surgery.
I was fortunate from a medical standpoint. No diabetes, no heart condition, no high BP, no liver issues. But a weight that had been as high as 495 and 441 when I stepped in for the consultation.

At 441lb your life is not accessible. You worry about going out and if you’ll fit. You look every restaurant up. You wear clothes that don’t shape your body because you buy for necessity. Looking good is out of the question. You don’t get invited to things because people have these worries too. You lose friends. You lose opportunities. You lose love. You lose hope. You wonder if you will ever make it out of this or if this is what your life is destined to be.

How long were you considering Weight Loss Surgery before you came in? If you put off the decision, why did you wait? What eventually made you decide to “go for it”?
I decided to have it in theory on Thanksgiving 2024 in my families house. Travel is so hard and I was feeling it. My mom had bypass when I was 9 and it was always in the back of my head. She had always restricted heavily even post op. She passed away in 2015 when I was just 22 and as time moved forward I understood through my own experience with being heavy what she went through- but decided that if I were ever going to do it, my intentions would be to correct what kept her from being fulfilled. I wanted to get on with my life and stop struggling. When I was ready to do that, I started the process.
