Dr. Faulkenberry is one of the founding members of Capital Surgeons Group–and thus, his pride lies in upholding and conveying the excellent standards that he helped establish for CSG as a whole. That means compassion, gratitude, patience, and experience – all the things that patients should expect from any surgeon. Dr. Faulkenberry is committed to helping his patients throughout their process because he knows and loves the fact that he can make life-changing differences in patients’ lives. For Dr. Faulkenberry, helping to establish the first large general surgical group in the Austin area was surely no easy feat. But, just like when it comes to his patients, Dr. Faulkenberry has always been determined. As a founding member, Dr. Faulkenberry has extensive experience in surgery procedures, such as–advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery, GERD treatment/acid reflux surgery, colon/abdominal/intestine surgery, and bariatric surgery, including gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, Lap-Band® maintenance/ removal, revision surgery and procedures for the treatment of chronic obesity. When it comes to weight loss, better health, and more mobility – Dr. Faulkenberry is all about making changes for patients that are long-lasting. Making people healthier, and happier, that gratitude is the true reason why Dr. Faulkenberry helped build CSG from the ground up and still continues his work today. Dr. Faulkenberry is a native Texan, an avid outdoorsman, and a hunter, who delightfully shares these hobbies with his children.
