Describe your life before you had Weight Loss Surgery.
I was always a larger child growing up… my weight fluctuated my whole life. And when I divorced I started gaining more weight because of my depression and eating more. My weight got so high I couldn’t even bend over to tie my shoes. I cried a lot and thought I would never nd someone to spend the rest of my life with because of my weight…
How long were you considering Weight Loss Surgery before you came in? If you put off the decision, why did you wait? What eventually made you decide to “go for it”?
I never considered weight loss surgery until my daughter had it… she had her surgery in August and by December look like a totally different person. By then I had started my weight loss journey with Dr. Marquez.
It was the best decision I have ever made in my life!
What was it like to work with the team, from the start of your journey to today?
I cannot thank Dr. Marquez enough for her support and encouragement Throughout my journey. The staff at Dr Marquez’s office was incredible!
Describe your life now, after Weight Loss Surgery. What is the #1 thing you love being able to do now (that you could not do before)?
Oh I now spend a lot more time outside… This past summer I wore a bikini for the first time since I was a child and I can bend over and tie my shoes!
