Describe your life before you had Weight Loss Surgery.
I had overreactive nerves, high blood pressure, and diabetic complications; my clothes weren’t fitting well, and I experienced fatigue and joint pain in my legs and back.
How long were you considering Weight Loss Surgery before you came in? If you put off the decision, why did you wait? What eventually made you decide to “go for it”?
For over 16 years, yo-yo diets led to weight loss, but I would regain it back twice as much each time, along with fluid build-up.
What was it like to work with the team, from the start of your journey to today?
Very helpful, but overwhelming. The weight wasn’t coming off, and Jerry was right – it was hard to learn how to eat. Mineral and vitamin intake are important too.
Describe your life now, after Weight Loss Surgery. What is the #1 thing you love being able to do now (that you could not do before)?
Better, especially blood pressure and diabetes under control, but my joints still hurt from all that weight. I love that I can touch my toes and my health and wardrobe finally match! lol
