Describe your life before you had Weight Loss Surgery.
Prior to surgery I was always tired. My weight caused me to constantly suffer from aches and pain in my back and joints. I have a physically demanding job and I could barely perform my job functions.
How long were you considering Weight Loss Surgery before you came in? If you put off the decision, why did you wait? What eventually made you decide to “go for it”?
I considered it back in 2021 when I had my first consultation with Dr. Marquez but I decided to hold off on it.
What was it like to work with the team, from the start of your journey to today?
Your team has been great! Nikki my patient advocate was a great help in guiding me with all the steps and requirements for my health insurance. The dietitian meetings with Jerry was amazing. Karla was so helpful and attentive with completing my leave of absence paper work.
Describe your life now, after Weight Loss Surgery. What is the #1 thing you love being able to do now (that you could not do before)?
My life has changed and is changing so much. My weight loss has caused me to be more active and productive. My pain has reduced significantly and I just feel so great and pleased with my overall health.
